Genuinely cannot tell you how often I see clothes I love in a TikTok or a Reel and use Google Lens to find it so I can search on Vinted.

I wore heels for 11 hours today. My feet are in agony.
I have to wear them for like an hour, maybe two, tomorrow. I am distinctly excited to be able to take them off and put my sketchers back on 🙃😂

I got up to make a cup of tea so I could take it back to bed and catch up on last nights I’m a celeb that I missed because I was working. Wound up putting the dishwasher on AND a load of washing. Personally I call that pretty impressive

With I’m a Celebrity currently airing, I am feeling the lack of meme worthy tweets an incredible amount.
bluesky is still struggling to be a place where i can hear about breaking news and, maybe more importantly, breaking memes. it has its own memes for sure, but it is, for better or worse, detached from a broader internet culture, and i'm hoping that will change

The thing about desperately trying to finish a dissertation is that you have to face up to words you wrote almost 2 years ago and work out if you still think they're true.

I would give so much for Warner Bros to buy Harry Potter. It hurts so badly to not feel at home in a franchise that gave me hope when I so badly needed it, to miss out on the joy of that franchise. I want to play the games, ride the rides, watch the films and sink into those books.

I’ve just stopped using Twitter. I’ve kept my old account and just changed it to say it’s inactive. If I’m honest I miss the news breaking live in front of me. I don’t miss the way it just felt increasingly like a cesspool of hatred and horror. I’m looking forward to this place picking up a bit.
I joined bluesky over a year ago but today makes the year date of deleting my Twitter account. No part of me wishes I had kept it, at this point, despite the connections I had there, and every time I see something else about the undead platform it's clearly an event worse place now. Cheers 🥂
