I saw that Cucumber Quest was made into a graphic novel so that reminded me of that one, and then I found out my partner reads a likes The Rock Cocks and Alfie, so that reminded me of those. And now @punkitt.bsky.social has reminded me of Dumbing of Age. Super excited about that!

So yea, free-handing this based off of looks is immediately better. The more I worked on it, the more obvious it was that the pattern I was following was just something someone grabbed from a gen ai bot after showing it a screenshot of the original ferret plush. I'm so sick of AI 😮‍💨

Yea, so the patternis 100% not the original. Might be ai or just a bad copy. Really mad at myself for wasting the yarn and even more mad at wasting the safety eyes. I'm just going to freehand it myself next time...

The more I make of this pattern, the more I'm wondering if the person who posted it actually made the pattern? Several things are not lining up....

I'm going to make this with a different yarn after this and if it's still messed up, idk.W/ how many A.I. patterns exist specifically for amigurumi....
