Pam Bondi is a disgrace to all lawyers- not to mention a disgrace to anyone who ever took an oath to uphold the law and the Constitution. (I am way too disgusted to come up with something clever to say about her vile performance today.)

When this nightmare is over I think that that the Kavanaugh moiety of the Supreme court should be tried for their knowing violations of the Civil Rights Act AND they personally should make reparations to the people impacted.

I don’t know why the Republicans are still receiving paychecks as they are not only not doing their jobs but they are not showing up (and lying through their respective teeth to boot).

I listened to an interview of Sen. Dusty Johnson (R. N. Dak.) today by Chris Jansing. The Senator answered real questions about the shutdown by repeating several times that shutdowns are “stupid,” reminding me of my sullen 10 year old reacting to enforcement of “stupid” family rules.

Why hasn’t Bove been disbarred? He’s the corrupt to the core and unfit to be a lawyer, let alone a judge on the 3rd Circuit. It isn’t too late, is it? As a lawyer who always stood by my oath, I am beyond disgusted.

Today as I listened to Karoline Leavitt refer to the trade deficit as “crippling” I wondered whether she (& possibly other WH types) are conflating the trade deficit with the fiscal deficit…or maybe they assume the voters are that stupid.

Is there any doubt that the tariffs are just a vanity play by Trump? After all, we keep seeing that tape of "the Donald" as a young Turk espousing the same view of tariffs - it stands to reason that he was THE smartest person in the world then as he is now.

Every time Pam Bondi attacks the judiciary by spewing lies, I wonder why she is still a member of any bar, particularly given the lies she spewed under oath during her hearings before Congress.

There’s a fix for the Musks and other oligarchs- when the Dems win back the majority in 2026 (hope springs eternal) then pass legislation to repeal Citizens United. Perhaps the majority will be such to override a veto (again, hope springs).

I still don’t understand how a lawyer avoids (at minimum) a reprimand by the ethics overseers of the bar (in Bondi’s case, Florida) - can someone explain?
