What would happen in that case? (Serious question)

I lost all respect for a certain news outlet when midway through election night they shifted from"it will be the end of democracy" to "what should Dems do different for the midterms". Maddening!!

I wonder if we would ever know the truth.

Are there any left? All of our local newspapers were long ago bought by a conglomerate, very little local or regional news available.
