I love thief classes in JRPGs. I’m a little scallywag, a looter if you will. A mischievous little cutpurse. Lemme dip into your satchel, your bag, your pockets. I’ll steal it all to craft better items😈

So, wait. For basically ever, men were earning way more than their female counterparts, and the messaging was that women were "too emotional" or whatever. And the second women start earning more than men, men completely lose their shit and it's a "crisis" "gripping" them? What a bunch of losers.
Young women are now consistently earning more than their male counterparts for the first time, according to a report that warns of a social “crisis” gripping young men

My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.

There's a level of introspection that's just not happening these days re: what actually needs to bother us.

Pessimism of the intellect allows us to better analyse worst-case scenarios, but optimism of the will means that we actually get out & make plans to thwart them. There *is* a organisation, online or in person, where you *will* forge community & provide what the state cannot: hope for a future.
