#showusyourknits One of my faves from a few years ago. Einstein #2. Lopi AlafossLopi. Warm and cozy.

Watching #TheWeekend on MSNBC reminds me of days gone by when I enjoyed and looked forward to Sat & Sun mornings, when I would watch #UpwithChrisHayes. 2011-ish? New faces, ideas expressed, and a flow of conversation that allowed me to think. #TheWeekend feels fresh and not a waste of my time.

Watching@theweekendmsnbc.bsky.social. I like it. I get good information, good guests, and no wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth. I can't watch #TheWeeknight for that exact reason. Sometimes @weeknightmsnbc.bsky.social‬ can exude drama. We have enough of that from the #theWhiteHouse, daily.

Rubio, while being interviewed on #facethenation this morning, was talking so fast and in so many circles that the interview amounted to absolutely nothing. He talked so fast and was so defensive that he ended up looking like a dope. Margaret tried, but Rubio hid behind his childish demeanor.

I'm enjoying #TheWeekend. It's a show on #MSNBC that gives me something to think about. I get the same from #DeadlineWhitehouse as well as #RachelMaddow. So much of the rest of the programming on the channel seems to be searching for something that it can't seem to find. Also, we need some #Joy.

Just watched Pam Bondi's 'news conference' on the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the US. It made me uncomfortable to watch someone so obviously out of her depth. She has been inept from the start.

Everything and everyone coming into contact with trump ends up in the shi++er. And now, it has happened to poor Elon, the richest person on the planet. Will he ever be able to outrun the stench? I think not. Scrub those shirts, Elon. Those pesky orange stains can be difficult to remove from collars.

The Pope has died? Oh my. I'm sorry to hear this news. He once said, and I am paraphrasing; Die having done much good, not with many goods. I am a nonbeliever, but it got my attention when I heard that. He appeared to be a good man and a nice person.

I have always appreciated #CoryBooker, but today, I love Cory Booker. What he did, standing at that podium and speaking the truth for over 25 hours, was nothing short of amazing. And I don't care how he did it. He did it because it needed to be done. Thank you, @booker.senate.gov.

IMHO, the Fairness Doctrine needs to be restored. It would change cable news, which would be refreshing. Until, if ever, I wish MSNBC would self-monitor itself. I am smart, I know how to think, I do not need to be pushed in any direction. Just give me the facts, I will figure it out myself.

Jimmy Carter, you have left us with many gifts. As the next 4 years begin, we will first remember Jimmy. May his brilliance, goodness, kindness, caring, and honesty be the salve we need to carry us forward. For me, he serves as a reminder, there are good men in this world. Thank you, Jimmy.

Any experience out there in Bsky land with OTC hearing aids? Looking for opinions. Good? Bad? Not worth it? Asking for a friend. I said - ASKING FOR A FRIEND. Thank you.

Good Morning, Blue Sky. I have a busy day, today. I hope all goes well for me and all. Let's spend at least part of this day in thought. Your choice, think away! I declare this to be a TA day...Thinking Allowed. Enjoy!

Rabbit, Rabbit, December 1st. This morning I remembered a quote from Old Yeller which I will boil down to a sloppy paraphrase, but this is how I remember it. 'Don't let the bad push out the good. If you do, you are left with only the bad.' I chose to apply that thinking to 11/05 and hope for good.

I have been thinking about the months and years (4) ahead. If you remove the extreme anxiety, fear, stress, worry, etc., I find it helpful to look for at least a kernel of good. But what is that good? I will knit, which is almost enough, but, how many sweaters does one family need? Stand together!

Feeling better this morning. Please excuse my tantrum last night. It happens. However, today I am left with the realization that Thanksgiving is no longer my favorite holiday. I blame it on my age. Yep, I'm going with age.

Thanksgiving eve and I have been working my tushie off since 6:30 this morning. Feeling used and unappreciated by family members. Poor me. Pardon the pity party; I think I just needed to vent. Holidays can bring out the spoiled child in me. I hope your T-day is bright and yummy. Gobble, gobble.

Why does rump fill me with so much disgust? I find him to be repulsive. Am I wrong? Do others not see it? How could ANYONE vote for him? The Rs had years to find a 'normal' R, but they could only come up with him. Why? What I wouldn't give to have W, or Mitt back. They were very normal Rs. WTF?
