#StormEowyn we are currently sitting close the the stinger tail of the storm. Very lucky that power is still on but the roof is off the leisure centre (again).
My question is, why does this multimillion roof keep blowing off, yet the dundering inn opposite us (fire damaged) still stands

Yay, we have a Christmas Cake. Happy days.
Now if this seems underwhelming, you have to bear in mind that I am 3 sheets to the wind. Cake was baked (back in Nov) and then decorated (today) with my brilliant neighbour. But only after cocktails 🍹

How about a wee bit of Storm Darragh? TBH 13 seconds of it is more than enough, there are so many trees down, and we’ve seen two missing roofs and there’s a big fancy yacht lying on the beach at a jaunty angle*
*high tide is in three hours, I don’t mush fancy it’s chances
