It definitely does inform on how the past came to be.
However I feel like social media is just like rocket fuel to this phenomenon. It feels to me as if it’s on a shorter time line that would have been a good deal slower without social media.

There are rumors coming out of Israel right now that the US could be joining in on strikes as early as tomorrow.
Their stock market jumped a good deal, potentially on these rumors.

Violence just gives the admin the excuse to use more emergency powers. Or declare martial law nationally.
