Cozy leather chair with a thick book by a small fire with the smell of bread baking after a walk in the woods.
Harley has her #bow tie on and is ready for Sunday Funday! #cats #splitface

I’m co-hosting a queer salon at my favorite #bookstore #coffeehouse in Culver City: Village Well Books. Come snap & sip coffee! Come an hour before to sign up for 7 minutes to read!

My #cat Harley loves #TheDrySeason by @melissafebos.bsky.social as much as I do. It’s so smart and honest and satiating. I’ve crossed the midline and am hoarding chapters because I don’t want it to end. #BookSky #Sapphic

This #memoir by #CynthiaErivo is exquisite in all the best ways. She really nails it. She’s very forthcoming m, especially delightful for anyone who trained in a an MFA acting program & pursued theater. So good. Fill-your-cup good. #books #booksky #SimplyMore

Thank gawd the rain is over. This is why I I have a hard time leaving our little paradise, in spite of the yakky crows and maniac drivers.

#Boston trees are magnificent.

#LosAngrles has stunning palm #trees, and sunrises. There’s a little green orb hiding in the Second tree. So many dog walkers in the morning saying hello.

One of the few tiny forests at the base of our Hollywood Hills. Trees always rescue me, and the company of a good friend and a warm cup of tea.

Sundays are for books, slow roasts, & cats staring longingly out the window. #cats

#L.A. is such a movie town. These #skelaton lawn props are larger than life.

L.A. likes Halloween a little too much.

Okay I’m 8 years behind with this #book but better late than never! Best way to push off the first look at the headlines in the morning and hang onto ourselves is a good laugh with a brutally honest #writer 💛:

My cat insisted we opened the curtains and that we won’t die if heat stroke since it’s fall, and you know what? She was right! We have to savor what’s left of America while we can.

I would buy more #puzzles if they all came in this packaging. I love that this is a mystery that I can’t solve until I put the puzzle together and I have no idea what the puzzle is supposed look like.

I get really upset when a good #book starts to end, like The Night Alphabet by Joelle Taylor. I scribble notable sentences like a trail of crumbs to prove it was real and I can read it again. “Her smile was a curtain opening onto an unlit stage.”

I highly recommend Liz Gilbert’s newest #book All the Way to theRriver. Not for the faint of heart, of course. Brutally honest and sincere. Bonus ports for completely transporting me back to the east village.
