Picked up Dragon age Veilguard again for the first time in a while. Whole new OC. This is my first time playing a character with long hair. The hair physics in this game are something else.

Meet Annabelle (Anna) Harding. Rook took Lace's last name since everyone calls and introduces him as Rook all the time anyways. She looks more like her mother, although slightly taller, but she followed her father's path of a warrior/soldier. But her scouting skills rival her mother's 😉

My Hero of Fereldon is a straight man. Who fell hard in love with Morrigan.
Rook picked Davrin. And I'll pick Davrin every time. It suits the storyline more and Harding is my girl and I can't bring myself to do it. Assan is cute and all and yay griffons but he isn't enough of a factor to change my mind. They never find the bodies so you can't convince me they are dead.

Connor is a warrior who uses sword and board (sword and shield). He likes to be up close and personal with his enemies. He is incredibly aggressive, and almost always angry/in a bad mood. Given what happened to his family, that's fair.

Connor is a warrior who uses sword and board (sword and shield). He likes to be up close and personal with his enemies. He is incredibly aggressive, and almost always angry/in a bad mood. Given what happened to his family, that's fair.
Punched him in the face! He deserved so much worse, but they needed to tie the veil to someone. Solas did not deserve any of the sympathy he got. Or any redemption people might have argued he was worthy of. There are mistakes and bad choices and then there is everything Solas did. He Deserved worse!

He is a silent, "stoic" and relaxed drunk. Most people cannot tell that he is even drunk at all.

Honestly? He isn't a fan of it. Emmrich can gush and explain it all day, but Rook still doesn't care for it. He won't argue against Emmrich for using it. But he did convince Emmrich to not become a litch, partly for fred, partly because well... Just no. More to it but Bluesky only has so much space.

Not really. He came into the wardens a broken man. Alone. Everyone he had known was dead and gone. Most of them, including his uncle, died at the battle of Adamant. But he did have Evka and Antoine once he joined the Wardens.

Being of Nobility, she was tutored in many things. Singing and Dancing being among them. Two things she absolutely excelled in. But she also taught herself how to draw.

He was heartbroken. But he doesn't believe they would repeat it. The Wardens are not the same as they were 400 years ago. Having the griffons be extinct for so long will have a big impact on how they are treated. They are in good hands. But what was done to the Griffons must not be forgotten

I've played my canon Rook twice. And I've both fought and convinced her. But because of how I see my Rook, a little rough around the edges, the canon outcome was he fought her. He called her out for her BS and demanded she fix her mistakes. She didn't like that. Lace and Neve were with him.

I had the incredible pleasure to meet Ruth Connell on the weekend. As a fan of Supernatural, seeing a large amount of the cast at Fan Expo was really cool. But I could only afford to meet one, and it had to be her! She was so lovely and is absolutely gorgeous.

Rook met Verric a couple times when he was a soldier with the Inquisition. They talked and got along very well. When Verric recruited him years later to help with Solas they formed a pretty deep bond. Verric became like a mentor/father figure for him.

Despite how frustrating he is, he got his position because he was once a good man, and a good Warden. He is clearly not thinking straight and is scared and confused. Despite wanting to kick his ass, Rook talks him down and helps to bring him back to himself. He got to die as the man he used to be.

He was shifting constantly.
He started out with the Grey Warden because he is a Grey Warden and he wanted to honor that part of himself.
Then he changed it to the Dwarven decor because of Lace and wanting to be supportive of her and her culture.
Then back to the original because it's simple.
