I cut a solid black pickguard and bought a black pearl pickguard. Theyre ok, but I think I’ll go with this for the guitar I shared a bit ago. Flame maple, cut, sanded, dyed with Angeles jet black, sanded back for grain reveal, sealed & now halfway through a dozen coats of nitro #woodworking #guitars

Absolutely love Food Terminal’s laksa.

I used Goodfilla Tint Base/Nuetral as the base and mixed it with Mixol ME2 Silver tint until I got a shade I liked.

This coming week is the perfect time to finally assemble this guitar for myself. Swamp ash body I cut and shaped, I opened the grain, dyed it black and filled it with silver grain filler I mixed before nitro clearcoat. #woodworking #guitars
