Just found out they are dropping a “new” album in a week or two. By “new” I mean recorded back in 2007 but shelved when they decided to quit touring. I went to a listening party the other night, and it is really great stuff. If you enjoyed them before, you should give the new album a listen.

So glad you’ve spent the time on this remaster! This has continually been one of my favorites since it launched. I love that the soundtrack was on the original CDs as well. Any chance we could get a digital release of that?

Great list. A few of those are always in the rotation for me. I can’t see Sky Blue Sky and I’m Like A Virgin Losing A Child without thinking about DCFC Plans and Mutemath self-titled.

I learned at age 25 on a Trail 110. Low and light as a feather. Nothing to fear when you drop it. No clutch either. I was also on grass / dirt and NOT asphalt. I removed all variables and intimidating factors that distracted from throttle control, balance, and vision. Riding big bikes now for ~20yr

I would build replicas of both 20K and Sub Voyage, and then commission The League of Extraordinary Imagineers (Baxter, Gurr, et. al) to build an epic, longer, spared-no-expense, version but with only practical effects. Life size giant squid animatronic? Yep.

The first time I saw this series was when we took our girls to WDW for the first time in 2016 (my 1st trip since junior high in ‘94) and these were playing in our resort room. Just so well done and incredibly funny. Still an occasional binge. Thanks for sharing these!

I am bitter that we only have the black/grey colorway here in the US and not the tri-color.
Like how Converse should always make a black high-top and Fender should always make a Strat in 3-tone sunburst, Honda should have every adventure bike available in white/red/blue tri-color.
