🏫 SCHOOLS DEBT: It gets worse. The deficit on the schools' budget (DSG) has ballooned to a staggering £133.4m.

Reform admits it will now fail to meet the targets set in the 'Safety Valve' agreement with the Government.

💔 SOCIAL CARE CRISIS: Adult Social Care is overspending by £50.9m.

Why? Because they promised £20m in savings they knew they couldn't deliver. They are abandoning our most vulnerable residents to pay the price for this gross mismanagement.

🛑 PANIC MEASURES: Council officers have now ordered an immediate halt to all "non-essential spend." (e.g. preventative work that saves money in the long term)

This policy will grind services to a halt, punishing residents for the Administration's incompetence and political instability.

📉 THE DECLINE: In just three months (Q1 (end June) to Q2 (end Sept) the forecast overspend has gone up by 66% from £27.9m to £46.5m.

The Council's own report admits this scale of failure is "unprecedented" and a "critical risk" to our financial resilience.
