The other side, is that expansion fees are just sort of a vetting mechanism to see if teams are serious. Ours won’t be a lot, but I don’t 100% disagree with them being there either.

Hey d’Alrary! I think we’re on a panel together in Chicago. That’s a good question. First, honestly, I don’t think that we’ve charged ANY team that fee (yet). Second, we’re floating the idea of a $25,000 new team fee, wherein that team must show receipts for spending $20,000 on their own club.
