The Trump administration choosing to appeal a court decision ordering it to fully fund SNAP benefits seems like an even worse idea after they actually had to put their “arguments” in writing.
The cruelty is the point.
The cruelty is the point.
The Trump administration tells the Supreme Court it can’t be compelled to fully fund SNAP because paying out the money would “irreparably harm” the government, while SNAP beneficiaries … *won’t* be irreparably harmed by going hungry? The balance of equities here is completely upside down.

Surprised and disappointed that Nneka Ogwumike has signed on for this new league with substantial Saudi Arabian financial backing.
This article is well worth a read.

Atty Shroff showed a photo of the sandwich on the ground, almost entirely in its wrapper, after it struck the agent. “In fact that sandwich hasn’t exploded at all,” she said.

I feel like Dan Quinn will be giving this same tip in the Commanders locker room right about now.
Meanwhile, Seahawks looking like they have barely broken a sweat.

Sending people to foreign torture prisons, murdering others indiscriminately, refusing to spend congressionally appropriated $, invading US cities, stealing from taxpayers & firing thousands of workers-all without any due process-is fine, but ensuring US people can eat leads to “legality” concerns?
If Kristi Noem needs a private jet or Argentina needs $40 billion, Trump will make it happen.
But when it comes to feeding hungry kids? Trump is looking for every excuse he can find to block SNAP benefits.
He needs to follow the law and keep SNAP running.

Remembering when Trump announced a press event at the Four Seasons, but it wasn’t the hotel…and his crack legal team of Giuliani, Lewandowski & Bondi went ahead with it. In a parking lot. In front of a garage door. Next to a sex shop and a crematorium. Right after Biden was declared the 2020 winner.
