Actually, I just remembered that replaying 7th Dragon means I have to play 7th Dragon, and I'm not quite ready to re-experience the tedium and sometimes agony that game puts you through
So when I get back to the series, definitely 7th Dragon 2020-II for sure

Some self-reflection tonight has made me realize that I have a lot of suppressed frustrations I've never really reconciled with

One thing I really appreciate about Disgaea 1 looking back is its aesthetic. It leans into a sorta Halloween aesthetic compared to every other entry, and it gives it a distinct art direction from the rest of the series
This is also why I was sad Complete replaced the old sprites

I think once I go through La Pucelle, I'll either restart my Disgaea 7 run (or wait for the Complete version to potentially hit PC) or start the Rhapsody trilogy

I know I'm currently playing one JRPG (keeping that a secret still), but fuck it. I feel like finally sitting down and giving La Pucelle the proper look it deserves. I'm gonna look up guides on how to play it this time since the game itself does a poor job of explaining itself

Tales of is that one JRPG franchise that I know I'd like a lot more if I played more games outside of Xillia years ago
But for whatever reason, never really bothered to do so. Not even out of lack of interest. It just... never happened

I think one of the best things to think about with Amagami is that I know I haven't seen even half of the content throughout all of the main routes, so there's still stuff to look forward to even if I just boot it up on a whim. That game is DENSE!!
