Nintendo has confirmed that they have fixed the issues surrounding Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl when played on the Nintendo Switch 2 and that there are now no issues surrounding it. Both games were causing unexpected crashing issues for some users, but this is now fully resolved. However, Nintendo has now identified another game which is having some issues when played on the Nintendo Switch 2 and that game is Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Nintendo notes that some players may encounter audio problems in certain areas.

Nintendo has deployed the new content-packed update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons earlier than expected. Just to reiterate this is the content update and not the Nintendo Switch 2 version which will go live at midnight your local time and costs roughly £5 for the upgrade. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons free 3.0 update brings with it Resort Hotel, Island Specialty Requests, Slumber Island, Resetti's Reset Service, Nintendo Items, LEGO Items, Zelda and Splatoon amiibo items, Permanent Pocket Camp Items, DIY Items and Increased storage. You can force the update by going to your Nintendo Switch Home Screen and selecting the game and pressing + Check for update.
