Your terms and conditions istate you can cancel a membership online or over the phone. It should not have been this difficult to cancel a membership, and you shouldn't have asked someone (who told you they are on hospice and have less than six months to live) to go to the store!

We repeated that wasn't possible because she is on hospice. We were put on hold and the supervisor finally came back and said they would process it through their back office. Now we wait 48-72 hours to see if it really gets canceled.

The person we spoke to was unable to cancel the membership and wanted my mom to go to the store and show her credit card. We repeated, multiple times, that she is on hospice and cannot physically go to the store.
It was escalated to a supervisor who also said she needs to go to the store.
