In its 2025 reworking, this naughty rock & roll is conjugated in the feminine, but the spirit remains the same: sex & rock & roll.
For those who are curious, the original in French is here: sucrepop.com/discographie...

On the lyrics side, since the terms “rock & roll” seemed to have a sexual connotation, I tried to do something a little suggestive, sung by a man's voice, Axel, a coworker, punctuated by a few lascivious female backing vocals, his wife.

Anyway, it was released in August, and the idea was to pay tribute to Elvis, on the 30th anniversary of his death in August 1977.
So, on the music side, I decided to do a late 1950s-style rock & roll pastiche.

And frankly, whatever you think about the use of AI it sounds really good and that's reason enough to offer it
This track will be available exclusively in the form of this @songcards.bsky.social which may help raise awareness of this ingenious platform for artists
I'm curious to hear your reactions

Merci. Every point of view is respectable
But if I use a MIDI drum file, isn't it the same thing From the drummer's point of view
Is authenticity solely due to the fact that it's the voice
I used to be a bassist, but when I play a bass line on the keyboard, I don't feel like I'm betraying anything

I know, I worked for years with a singer—Lucy, Racquel and Me is the name of the band
Lucy was the author Racquel the singer and I was me😀
I know what sensitivity and new ideas a singer can bring but for this project, I wanted to work solo, and, being French my English isn't good enough for my music

The voice is not AI, it's made with the VST Synth V of Dreamtronics
It emulate a voice as a Toontrack VST emulate Drums or Bass it's played, not generated by an AI
