More side people and something something about tics. The sea folk mostly have clothes that are wrapped around the body and pinned. It's made to resemble those fish that look like they have a delicate scarf for a tail and fins. Jolly is a nail biter too, I've decided.

Today, boots were my enemy. I have come to realise that I really can't do anything digitally and be happy with it. All of these were very loose sketches I had abandoned for not being very good. They're not good now, but they're something.

Sometimes, I find other pieces of art more useful in terms of reference than actual human bodies. I struggle with what information to keep and what to discard and most other drawings have already made that choice for me. Marino may be looking at liiiittle too frail, though. I can fix it digitally

I dont know how the game handled this with the other characters,but Erik is so fucking cute to you. Noah calling him a tea leaf is also delightful.I wish the game would let me marry him properly, though.He loves you more than Gemma.I did, in fact, take a photo of everyone's response #dragonquest11

Rough and ugly, but I did want to at least jot down some ideas I had about clothing. Marino often has to hide his hair. It's embued with magic so the color gives away who he is. Scarves abound.

Some drawings of them together. Together, i think it's easier for me to be less focused on making sure they look exactly like themselves. Their features are different enough that you certainly won't mistake them for each other, but they also feel more like themselves together.

Marino, I think, is a lot easier to capture in terms of what he looks like, but I always hesitate because he's supposed to be pretty. That's something I struggle with when looking at how other artists handle "pretty" men. Their emotions end up limited.

None of these drawings of Jolly were particularly successful imo. I think it's hard for me to think of expressions in a vaccum. Why he's make the face he makes would be heavily dependent on the exact scenario, and half the time he looks more like his brother (bottom 2 drawings)

Somewhat overloaded with garbage sketches of my boys. These are some earlier ones (recent earlier ones. The characters are a decade old, and almost all the early early stuff is lost). I'm hoping to have more concrete references soon.
