its important to walk with your head high always, in part because helps stave off rac*sts who pick up on and pounce on insecurity (like any other abusers)

just the baseline politeness that all of humanity owes each other - but that’s usually only observed by us as poc, anyways 😒

i know its not always safe or pleasant for myself or other poc to do so but it feels so important & empowering to just not care, as much as you can. you dont owe strangers anything for existing in their vicinity!!
