Got to give a kudos to @ikeacanada.bsky.social for listening to feedback on accessibility! Last year I complained about the store removing pick-up lockers & its impact on those with mobility challenges. Particularly when it meant walking further to customer service & dealing with pushing a cart.

The appointment of Hegseth as US Secretary of Defence is a troubling progression.
In the early 2000s, when I worked with YWAM in South Africa, I was introduced to the concept of the “7 spheres of society” aka “7 Mountains Mandate” in which we should aim to have influence, or DOMINION over.

When we Christians are more known for our support of presidents than we are for our support of the poor, the immigrant, the marginalized, and the oppressed, that is when we know we are following someone other than Jesus and we have a lot of repenting to do.
