I live in Arkansas. Went to get my Covid and Flu shots yesterday at Walgreens. I was told that I couldn’t get the Covid shot, because I wasn’t 65 or older. The pharmacist informed me that I could contact my doctor and try to get approval for it.

He was extremely negative about college education (maybe rooted in his rejection by West Point). It’s perplexing to me why he then spent so much time on college campuses.
I watched a clip of him telling young women that it’s okay to go to get your MRS degree. Also, his wife is college educated.

I taught art K-12 in the Deep South. So many boys had been taught that art & creativity was sissy stuff. Some didn’t want to use a pink crayon. Others frowned at textile art- it was girl stuff, although I could tell that many ended up enjoying it.
Let’s bring back Renaissance men!

We went on a Caribbean cruise last month and this group of folks wore their red MAGA hats at every turn- dining, performances and port outings. Childish behavior from adults.

My dad served 3 tours in Vietnam and was never the same. He came home, went AWOL and disappeared for the remainder of my childhood.

Both of our children went to a private Christian school. Last child graduated 10 years ago. Back then, the school administrators didn’t want any government funding, because they didn’t want government involvement. That’s the way it should be.
