Finished the Splatoon season top 1000 in X battles for the first time :)

Lowkey I kind of miss playing the competitive games that my brain became really good at thinking about through all the hours I put in, but the costs to playing them at that same level are too hard to deal with anymore that I just can’t bring myself to do it.

One of my friends brought up a study that shows musicians have better aim with real firearms than non-musicians, and I was wondering if that translates to aim in videogames. For me, my aim is one of the strengths of my play.

Trident has a few members who are going on a hiatus soon so I’m probably gonna start my own team, or try to join another at least as a sub to hold over my desire for comp play. I’ll think about it over the weekend, but if anyone else wants to at least make a few pickups for some weekday events hmu.

I don’t know if it makes sense but playing Splatoon the past few days I felt like I finally had that moment where I can see exactly what I need to do to win sometimes and I can actually execute on it. It feels really good to reach that point.

I wish I knew that they were gonna add 10 star weapons sooner so I could’ve put all my time playing ranked modes into Light Tetras instead of just having both Tetra Dualies at 8 stars each. I WANT THE 10 STAR BADGE!!!
