Support for the British for their firm stance 💪
Let's follow their example and not give in to Russia's relentless aggression.

If the Yantar sails further south, Putin risks getting caught out big time 🐰

The message from Defence Secretary John Healey to Putin sums it all up:
‘We see you. We know what you are doing. [...] We are ready.’
Ships and aircraft from the Royal Navy
and Royal Air Force are keeping a close watch on the Yantar.

Pointing a laser at a cockpit is not an incident, it is a hostile act!
This is yet another irresponsible military provocation by Russia.
In response, UK's response is exemplary. Standing up to the Kremlin requires firmness.

Please note: the north of the islands 🇬🇧 is the new favourite route for our Russian friends and their ghost fleet.
This allows them to avoid the English Channel and, by a ‘happy’ coincidence, it is also one of the areas with the highest concentration of submarine cables 🙃.

The Yantar is not an insignificant vessel. Officially a scientific ship, she is a hybrid intelligence and warfare vessel that Russia is sending to Europe.
She has a reputation for mapping and even cutting our submarine cables. This isn't the first time she's been in this area.

The ghost fleet is not just a logistical trick to sell oil under sanctions.
It is a complete predatory system designed to feed the Russian war economy while waging a hybrid war against Europe from the sea. A 3-in-1.

Let's hunt them all down🐙

♦️ In reality, this team does not protect anything: it commands the ship. The civilian crew is completely subservient to them, reduced to a form of hostage.

♦️ Worse, these teams are intelligence agents and actors in the hybrid war that Russia is already waging against the European Union.
November 18, 2025 at 10:50 AM
To recap:

♦️ Russia has established its own network of port and shipping companies in Europe, run by former FSB agents.

♦️ The ships in the ghost fleet almost always carry a “security team.”

Danish pilots had already warned this summer that the Russians were using ships from the ghost fleet as platforms for intelligence gathering and hybrid warfare.

The authorities response: “ikke overrasket”

Added to all this are “security” providers: Russian paramilitary groups, such as the RSB Group, officially providers of ship protection. In reality, RSB is closely linked to the FSB.

It is mentioned in this article 👇

Their presence in NATO ports allows Russia to maintain a discreet but extremely effective foothold in key locations along the Western maritime chain.

Surrounding these ships is a network of port, logistics, and dredging companies linked to former senior FSB officials. They are located throughout Europe.
Their mission? To conceal the real (Russian) owners and opaque financial flows. 🙃

What Danish pilots observe on a daily basis is only part of a much larger system. A system of maritime predation carefully constructed by the Russian services over many years.

At no point is he given any explanation for these practices, nor for the presence of these armed men, nor for the removal of documents or the collection of information.

These men in uniform are not protecting anyone: they are imposing, they are controlling, and above all, they are collecting. 🥸
November 18, 2025 at 10:50 AM
🔸 To top it all off, he also observes that these uniformed individuals are taking photos and noting details about Danish infrastructure visible from the ship: bridges, energy facilities, offshore wind turbines, military ports, etc.
November 18, 2025 at 10:50 AM
🔸 Throughout his maneuver, he is closely watched by these men in uniform, who stand behind him and follow his every move.

🔸 The sailors of the crew seem intimidated, silent, and visibly monitored by these agents.
November 18, 2025 at 10:50 AM
🔸 Very quickly, he notices a “total shutdown”: no one is talking, no one is cooperating. Everyone seems to be on the defensive.

🔸 He also notices that essential documents (registers, certificates, insurance policies, etc.) have been removed from the bridge even before his arrival.
November 18, 2025 at 10:50 AM
🔸 Upon arriving on board, he is immediately struck by the cold welcome and an unusually tense atmosphere.

🔸 As he climbs onto the command deck, he sees men in military uniforms 🇷🇺 or paramilitary attire, which is highly unusual on a civilian oil tanker.
November 18, 2025 at 10:50 AM
These pilots board tankers of the russian ghost fleet. Their role is not to control the ship, but to assist the command deck.
The pilot therefore simply describes what he has observed on board many ships in this fleet:

Bjarne Cæsar Skinnerup, a sailor for over 40 years, is a pilot for DanPilot.
A pilot (at sea) is an expert who boards foreign ships to guide them safely through Denmark's narrow and dangerous waters.
