Maybe "Boomer-shooter"? Back in the 90s they are just FPS, but suddenly fast paced FPS with sci-fi/fantasy theme are grouped as "boomer-shooter" now.

I'd argue that those "BS" have little common to the FPS back then, but that is a story for another day.

Vietnam's PC/console market remains largely unexplored by most publishers. However, with a young population, a stable region, and a growing GDP, the current Steam ban is merely a small bump on the path toward long-term growth and development.

It's surprising to see classic hits like Age of Empire 2 and Commandos 1-2-3 on this list (shout out to the GOAT) with impressive users and playtime, even surpassing Stardew Valley. I suspect S.V. players already own the game on other consoles and only buy it during Steam sales.

- Multiplayer dominates: CS2, Dota 2, PUBG, GTA V.
- Strategy games: Company of Heroes 2, Total War—playtime likely uneven.
- Narrative hits: The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Life is Strange.

Since April 2024 (before the ban), Steam users in Vietnam increased 0.01% to 0.14%. While it seems small, this likely means around 2,000 new users. I suspect the “Wukong effect,” as it aligns with the game’s release, is driving this surprising growth. For the fun of it, I crawled some more data...
