I’d feel empty forever. Going from something so alive to the mundane human world would be unbearable. Worst of all, leaving behind the bonds I made (especially my partner). Being human again would feel dull, nothing compares to being a Pokémon. So yeah reasonable crashout.

You could stay a boring, weak human, or you could become a dragon. To me, that’s an upgrade in every way. Personally, I wouldn’t choose being a dragon as my top pick, but it’d still be way cooler and better than staying human.

That world would be really interesting, with fully feral animals that were once humans, and anthros going around it. It kinda reminds me of the Khajiit furstocks from The Elder Scrolls.

To be honest, you could still maintain some form of communication by asking them yes or no questions and having them nod accordingly, or by tapping with their paws and using other forms of non-verbal communication

Man i like your grounded take on TF, i was asking my self the logistics of it and you asnwered many of them though i still wonder¿how would the morality of finding a mate would work if there wasn't other people that were TF'ed or things like heat cycles, would you still be accountable to human law?
