It’s easy to pretend to have a spine when other Democrats will take the fall so that the party can continue their capitulation. We voters handed you a huge victory last Tuesday and you didn’t even last a week before squandering it.

It’s really easy to say no when other Senators fell on their sword to allow Democrats to kowtow to this administration and remove subsidies that will result in people losing their access to healthcare. You are all culpable and complicit in this unless there is demonstrable change within the party.

Look, I hate Trump as much as anyone, but James Buchanan, Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, and Herbert Hoover would definitely be up there.

This is an incredibly crappy time to have a baby under 12 months. I wish there was more we could do to protect babies who can’t be vaccinated.

Everyone that I know who was a smoker gained weight after quitting. My friends and I gained weight after ephedra was taken from the shelves.

We have decreased smoking and made different forms of speed illegal. Both those things were keeping people thin. We ate ultra processed food in the 80s and 90s so when we stopped smoking or doing speed, obesity exploded.

Sanders didn’t do much with the Black community leadership and then they blamed the DNC on losing the South. Just total refusal to admit reality. And then they kept talking g about how the South shouldn’t count anyway. Hmmm.

So he’s looking to put the entire leadership of America’s military in one place. Like one building. That would make a very juicy target for terrorists or bad actors.

People definitely either forget or weren’t around to get the context for things. I’ve seen some wild takes about the 90s too, and you can’t say anything about the nuance without severe pushback by people with a superficial view of recent history.
