Why do older adults talk to people on their speaker phone in a crowded waiting room?

I swear people were talking about how we were going to overpopulate the Earth when I was in school as a kid, and now I see posts about population collapse?! Did my memory make that up from my school days?

I must be the only person in the world who can kill a cactus. My plants that take care and frequent watering do fine. But every cactus I get, dies.

I know this about myself, so I don’t buy them. This was a gift. Sorry.

I’m either ready at 6:30 or rolling out of bed to rush. There’s no in between.
