"I am the luckiest man alive to have someone so wonderful, beautiful, kind, and compassionate in my life. And I would never trade that for anything in the world."

He replied as he felt her move closer into his embrace. A smile crossed his normally serious face. One that expressed his love for her.

"Knowing that and also getting the chance to return to your beautiful face and caring arms, make all of the dangers seem so little." He spoke after hearing her words. He did not wish to break the hug yet. As he always longed for moments like this while being away on duty.

"I will be as cautious as I can. But I can never make a promise that I will not end up injured or angry." He stated as he held her close in his arms. Keeping her safe and leaning down, he gently placed a kiss on top of her forehead.
