The final update. For the past year I have been custom re-building an HO Scale Sunset Models Great Northern F-1 steam locomotive. The detailing and corrections have been completed and it just left the paint shop. I hope you like it!

Another update, Sunset models, Heavily modified and detailed, brass Great Northern F-1 steam locomotive model. Decals applied to cab and detail painting on boiler plus accessories. Cab interior details picked out. Satin clear coat on everything to follow, then reassembly.

This engine model began life in 1977 as a Great Northern F-1 2-8-0 Consolidation built by Samhongsa and imported by Sunset Models.

This is one of my in progress HO scale modeling projects. I start with an older less accurate brass model and rebuild it, making it as accurate as possible based on a particular engine.
