Trying to use Bluetooth controllers on Windows is a loosing battle. Just stop now and use a cable. You cannot win.

You can always get something like a Pixel 7a. They are comparatively cheap. (Used ones at least)

There are a couple of banks that offer their own tap to pay functionality. iCard being one for EEA residents. Works just fine. The rest of the app ist terrible, tho.

Most banking apps work just fine (if you have play services installed). The problem being that this can change anytime. Revolut recently started blocking the likes of GrapheneOS.
