As someone who continues to struggle with debilitating anxiety myself, I know how hard it can be do things that "should be easy", but I'm also very familiar with the overwhelming sense of relief and "was that it?!" that comes with actually getting them done. The departures lounge in Ottawa airport smells EXACTLY like the boarding house in my first year of secondary school, when I was about 11. The first time I walked in there, I stopped dead in my tracks because the sudden wave of nostalgia was so strong, smell is amazing.
