Trueee. I only wash mine every three days so it's at leadt not something I deal with every day. Otherwise I just use a shower cap.

I've been growing mine for a while and once it reaches the point where you can tie it back and it's not in your face all time, it's really pretty easy to manage. At least, more so than I expected.
