Barrel returns as an elemental boyfriend!

Barrel, a green colored rat in brigand outfit. In the background, two rat goons hold knives threateningly and cheerfully. To the left, a number of equipped items are presented. --- Barrel is a Level One Rat monster. The type that starting adventurers train on. He and his clan exist to get their asses spanked by newbies, and so, Barrel decides to fight back. There must be a future where his clan can forge their own destiny. But there is a problem: unlike adventurers, Barrel cannot gain EXP or Levels. Liberation proves to be a difficult task when he cannot pose a threat to any new adventurer. Until opportunity presents itself. A pervert. Put off guard by sudden arousal at the thought of being dominated by a Level One Rat, Barrel defeats an adventurer. And for it, he gets to take their gear. Starting gear. It vendors for a couple of copper. But it's enough. From then on, Barrel gradually increases his wealth. One by one, sexually tempting, dominating and defeating new adventurers, too ashamed of their defeat to report their losses to the town guards. Their gear, traded and salvaged and disenchanted to produce slight gains. Before long, Barrel is not the only Level One Rat monster equipped with a couple of mundane items. And then soon, stronger adventurers come. And they are defeated, and Barrel acquires a lucky drop or two. First a socketable gem. Useless to him, until he acquires a sword with a socket. The bonuses it provides are at once useful, and an ironic reminder of what the world decided for him. Then it was time to become a true problem. There are wolves nearby that adventurers cut their teeth on. It's a quest to go out and trim the local wolf population. So what would happen if Barrel had stolen an essential quest item and never turned it in? Now there's a new quest. Defeat "Barabarrel, the Tutorial Rat". Beware, do not be fooled by this low level of this elite monster. Adventurers who have their underwear taken need not report to Vale authority.
