There is some Pathe footage on you tube. I must be one of the sea of faces behind the goal to the left. Sat on my dad’s shoulders glued to the game. Happy days.

I was lucky, as an 8 year old to see him play. Remember more about the occasion than about him as the player. When football was proper ⚽️

I kind of hope he doesn’t

What exactly is that other than a mess?

No………no other words adequate! 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Pretty low bar this season.
December 9, 2024 at 7:18 AM
They may not have a tipping point right now, but they would definitely have one come May?
December 9, 2024 at 7:17 AM
Nail on the head with that list!
Just try something different FFS! 🤦🏼‍♂️

Free up some salary. Time to move a few on:
JT, cash in while L1 clubs are interested.
CW, hoping anyone is interested. Charlton maybe?
MA, while he can still walk.
In: quick loanee up front, or two.
LCB/LWB.
Get Fanne involved ASAP.
Change HAS to happen somewhere……surely?
December 9, 2024 at 7:14 AM
Might be useful next season in League One?

‘Trust the process’ has long since lost any credibility. It is obvious to anyone thinking with their head rather than hoping with their heart, there really is no ‘process’.

Though I agree that Taylor has not had a fair chance to show what he can do; he needs to be sold in Jan for his sake; he and Pepple are not the solution, the problems are way way bigger than that.
December 7, 2024 at 5:18 PM
Feels like it would be £1.5million well spent.
What is going on on the pitch is chaotic and, at times, just desperately trying to find a solution. The clock is surely ticking?………surely!!

🤣🤣
RE is is truly deluded.
There are few positives about Anthony on show on the pitch at present!
December 7, 2024 at 5:08 PM
But we are not in a relegation battle?…….right🤔

When struggling leaking goals we’ve not tried 4 at the back; Bell at LWB. At the other end we have played Woodrow ahead of others and have barely given Taylor a run. Stats show EA misses chances….lots. Not proven at this level, Taylor is a natural finisher! Frustrated, we all grasp at straws! 🤦🏼‍♂️
December 5, 2024 at 7:47 AM
He was at Feyenoord as a youngster and moved to Man U where he stayed a few years. He played all the age groups for Holland. Then via loans at Werder Bremen and Bruge ended up at Brum. Yes a player, but possibly not for the week in week out grind. Has his day, but a luxury we can ill afford perhaps?
December 5, 2024 at 7:43 AM
Lots of the line up decision making has been puzzling. TC at LWB, CW at Boro? Clark up front at Sheff U?
Moses looked the real deal in the flesh at Plymouth. But for a marginal offside by him, his cross to Joe Taylor to score proved his worth and JT’s quality as a natural goalscorer.
December 4, 2024 at 9:44 PM
Possibly, but based on repeated examples of looking for a foul, falling over and then bleating over not getting it. Predictably feeble. Definitely a luxury that we cannot afford at the moment. With the current LWB shortage a back four, or AB at LWB, and TC nowhere near it makes more sense!
December 4, 2024 at 9:31 PM
RE won’t go for 4-4-2… the person who takes over from him in January might, but he won’t at least try it! 😡
December 4, 2024 at 8:51 PM
We picked up Chong from an ordinary Birmingham City, he previously had a few chances at Man U. Tells a tale. My opinion……Chong is massively overrated! Goes to ground too easily, either looking for fouls or because he is too weak in the challenge. Offers nowhere near enough!

The next two games.
*the weather is to blame.
*the pitch is to blame.
After that we have:
*the officials are to blame.
*fixture scheduling is to blame.
Then we come back to:
*injuries are to blame.
*TV timings are to blame.
Then repeat.
That should do it 😉😊
