Summers where I live get into the high 30's C, but most of our waters are fed by high mountain run-off, from the snow pack. I have to think that you wouldn't enjoy swimming here!

Canadians? I know when 22 of us were in California, and swimming in the ocean, the locals couldn't conceal their amazement/horror at our "antics". We thought it was downright balmy. *shrug* 😂

i don't know why lidocaine isn't used in this procedure. men get painkillers for a paper cut, and women are told that the cervix doesn't have any nerve endings. *diez on the inside*

every time DD goes to have an IUD inserted/removed she is told it won't hurt. haha--it always does. women are constantly gaslit about their pain, so i taught her to comment loudly and often about how much it does hurt so obviously the dr. is incompetent or doesn't know how to perform this procedure.
