1. No country has ever been forced to join NATO

2. All new members must first apply and meet rigorous standards

3. The vast majority of new members since 1991 have joined due to fear of Russian aggression

4. NATO has never attacked Russia

I've said before that when I came over to Bluesky from Twitter I made the conscious decision to try to be kinder in how I dealt with people. It's been work but on the other hand I like the online version of myself here better. It did me good to be less snarky/snippy to others right out of the gate.

The Washington Post refuses to even consider that the elections in Georgia were fraudulent and instead lets a Russian woman write a piece about how Georgians happily embrace Russia.
