i’ve been doing headache astrology all day to figure out whether i have the kind of problem i should probably see a doctor about pretty soon, or if it’s definitely CTE (even though i don’t know any of the symptoms and haven’t even looked it up).

my grandad died this week at 96. he had a long and incredibly colourful life, outliving two daughters, a wife, and an ex wife. i wasn’t close to him- none of his grandchildren from his first marriage were, even tho we all tried- but it has always felt like he would live forever and i’m sad.

It is so funny to be doing this is a clothing brand and yet still only be selling sizes 6-14 (NZ/AU/UK).

One of the things I do really like about Auckland after years of living in Wellington is that the weather gets good enough for people to have actual fruit trees in their yards, and for those fruit trees to actually grow fruit.

I bought a bottle of oil yesterday afternoon and then yesterday evening while I was cooking dinner, it rolled off the bench and smashed on the kitchen tiles right at my feet. I feel good about this actually.

[Prime Minister] Christopher Luxon told Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking, parents unhappy with the supplied school lunches should just "go make a Marmite sandwich and put an apple in the bag".
It comes after numerous problems were reported with the school lunches including most recently, plastic melted into the food.
