Generative AI is a cursed technology, making life worse, making us stupider and polluting the environment, all for very little practical upside.
As with coding, the actual writing is the least difficult/interesting part of the process.

Just saw an interesting youtube video on that very topic. We evolved to learn from people, not from screens. And while I think it's important to know how to use tech, you have to learn the fundamentals - like basic reading comprehension - first.

It's an easier sell for executives, I think. If your output is presentations and reports nobody scrutinises, then genAI can do a great job, little mistakes don't matter. Code or legal documents or contracts on the other hand are a very different story.
