The Wellesley Symphony lost a long time member last week. Listening to Bach's Liebster Gott, wenn werd ich sterben? (lit. 'Dearest God, when will I die?'), BWV 8 reminded me of her. The 4th movement is an aria for flute and bass in a gigue tempo. "In glory unclouded my Lord I will know."

Revisiting Bach seems helpful, so I'm working through my 160 CD collection of his works. BWV 1, "How beautifully the morning star shines" is exquisite.
