It also helps that she's the ruler of an entire dimension of demons who can feed and pamper her at her beck and call.
I just imagine her being extremely gluttonous in general. While I'm comfortable with her being averagely fat, she has so much potential to just get HUGE.

It is a lot of fun coming up with WG scenarios for Magik (also probably helps that she's my favorite X-man lol). How she has to adjust her fighting style thanks to her massive gut, her using her stepping disks to summon whatever food she wants, or even getting stuck in them trying to move around.

It’s hard to believe that I got into her thanks to the hype for the (terrible) New Mutants movie, but I’m glad I did! Magik is a great character, overcoming such a tragic backstory to become a fun and badass hero in her own right. Plus, giant sword!
