Stancil sometimes gets close, bc Wine Mom's POV is only really be possible if the US system of checks and balances and everything else utterly fails anyway. And it did. Clearly. The difference is that Stancil seems to believe it happened in January of 2025.

Interesting discourse that fails to consider that the totality of evidence points to how the US has its hand in every pot and purchases or coerces their way out of trouble around the globe. That their primary customers are financial interests and transnational industry reinforces the problem.

I feel like the American left would have been more pro-Israel if they built solidarity with the Israeli left.

I sort of predicted this would happen during the Biden admin. I also suspect that in the absence of serious natsec and fed gov reform under Dem leadership, this dynamic will continue to be inevitable, especially since Dem-led admin's look neutered and lack teeth.

Idk, Obama's silence and failure to meet the moment during the biggest constitutional crisis in over a century is weird. Does he have a right to privacy? Of course, but it's strange why he would want to be sidelined if his voice would be helpful and he should be judged for it.

Remember, Karp considers himself a Democrat and presumably, has some degree of influence about the direction of the party. It reveals how people can be influenced without even being aware of it.

I mean, it is sort of clear that OpenAI is incredibly biased and I suspect their political bias will ultimately make their business model even shittier. Positioning a repository of knowledge to make fascism a centrist position is not going to be good and likely introduce more hallucinations.

Let's make sure everyone is on the same page. Israel and AIPAC support both sides in US politics. Dems believe Trump is a dictator, seemingly, AIPAC and Israel disagree. That this dynamic, among many others, wouldn't be a significant inflection point in global geopolitical conflict is improbable.

I know it's a silly meme but it is also the type of dynamic that is leveraged by intel agencies to divide and conquer and further fascist agenda. Remember, the truth doesn't need propaganda to be effective but it does require being cognizant of efforts that seek to bury it.

I think a disconnect is happening bc the situation we are experiencing isn't something legislation can fix and waiting until 2026 for the possibility of taking congress is too far away.

At the end of the day, Democrats (even when they lead the CIA and other intel agencies) are infinitely more afraid of leftists than folks like Elon Musk and other fascists, which sort of helps to explain why we are in this mess.

The US always positions itself to "win" and that usually means playing all sides. In other words, for the Trump admin to be "successful", the CIA and usual suspects get in place to be able to deliver that reality, however bleak or self-defeating. That's what a declining super power looks like.
