Once again, the What is a Woman crowd reveals what they really meant by the question.

Cuomo provided senate seats from those that had them to the best of their abilities and provided to those in accordance with their needs. If that's not progressive, I don't know what is!

No not like that! Higher minimum wages are radicalism. We meant the real kitchen table issues, like a grant for buying a Maserati or eliminating pesky regulations on overdraft fees. You know, stuff the real Americans care about.

Valid point. The 30 Years War was closer to their time than our civil war is to today. And we're still suffering some of those effects.

True! And perhaps we'd see more competitive races at the end of the ballot. More than "Choose up to 9 candidates" when there are only 9 on there.

I'd be interested to see it play out if it passes.

I don't intend to bring doomerism into it. Not at all! And effective campaign could plausible cut through it all and even help the top of the ballot.

But, man, I can also see all the Israel and Gaza stuff brought into this mayoral race ramped up to 11 if combined with fed elections.

Ads, outreach, longer ballot that people might ignore are what come to my mind. Just my thoughts, I have no data on it since we've had these off-year elections to now anyway.
October 31, 2025 at 4:51 PM
I'm still torn on this one. I feel like the fed elections would boost turnout but might overwhelm city elections. I'd feel better if the proposal was to align it with the state's cycle, especially since so many of our challenges like transit are tied to state control.

But life goes on either way!

I seriously don't want to vote for either of them. Might try to amuse myself with a write in.

It's your fault and Obama's fault. Curious why he called out you two specifically.

If they're in tuxedos, it's okay. They let you do it.

Gotta refer you to this game where Bryan Mitchell pitched an inning, then spent the next inning at first base before coming back to the mound.
