I'm not voting Labour any more...
I'm not voting Labour any more. They tax the poor, coddle the rich, protect businesses, ignore workers. They cry about "protecting the children" and use that as an excuse to try and weaken encryption, ban VPNs and silence the voices of those that call out genocide by declaring them a part of a terrorist group. I know a government's first duty is to improve its own lot. I just thought that they would at least throw us a bone or two. So who the hell am I supposed to vote for now? Where do I find the information to make that choice? How do I know that information is reliable? No wonder so many of us don't vote. Feels like pissing into the wind.

Brings me back to the late 90's.

I'm very tempted
I'm getting more and more convinced to switch to linux. From some quick research, Nobara has caught my eye. Designed to be as easy to set up for gaming/content recording (it works with davinci resolve my favourite video editor) as possible which interests me as I love gaming and I occasionally make videos no one watches. Thinking of getting a 1TB drive to install Nobara onto, pulling all the drives in this machine out, so in case I want to I can put them back and giving linux a proper go for once.

I watched it when I was a lot younger and it freaked me out. I watch it now in my 30s and I find it cute.

It looks cheap, even for 1995.

"I know I, as the home secretary, have a responsibility to think about the action the government can take to strengthen our communities, to make sure people are well-integrated into our society," she said. The home secretary will carry out a review of current protest legislation to "ensure powers are sufficient and being applied consistently”, the government said. THIS WILL INCLUDE POWERS TO BAN PROTESTS OUTRIGHT, THE GOVERNMENT SAID.
