Tried out the Pragmata demo. It’s interesting! The combat flow takes a minute to process, but I dig it. Also very happy with how well it performed on my rig. Rock-solid 60 FPS at 1080 with no DLSS or Ray Tracing. Not bad for a midrange from 5 years ago!

My biggest pain point with Legends ZA is the day/night cycle. I had two alpha Eeveeloutions on screen as the transition happened. After it ended, they were replaced with a Tyranitar and a Hawlucha. Terrible implementation, and this isn’t the first time it’s gotten me like that either.

I was excited for the PvZ remaster, but it’s not great. To be clear, if you want PvZ1 on a modern console or on Switch? It’s fine. The gameplay works, the levels are the same, it’ll probably scratch the itch. If you have access to the GotY version though? I’d recommend skipping Replanted.

2. Every $70 release should be required to have a public, downloadable demo made available at or ahead of launch

-Mini Rattler nerf is needed, but won’t hurt it too bad
-I pretend I do not see the Splash buff
-The brella buff is nice. Not sure if it’ll fix the weapon

Tried out the demo for #LuminesArise and had a fun time! @enhance-experience.com continues to bring their A-game in the puzzle space. Took me a minute to get a handle on things since I haven’t played the original, but I think I did pretty well.

Thoughts on the Partner Showcase:
It was a fine/10. Nothing super huge, but stuff like Pac-Man World 2 remake and new Katamari is exciting. The elephant in the room for me is PvZ Replanted.

At this point there’s only like one (1) barrier keeping me from switching to Linux, and every time Microsoft tries to upsell me their subscription platform the ground beneath that barrier erodes. I’m lucky enough to be running 11 Pro, so I can (and have) disable Copilot at a policy level.
