Two chapters are out now!

Can’t wait for this shit to get worse since America decided to take the middle men out and let the wealthy oligarchs just completely run things and will make this all absolutely worse because people lack the imagination on how much worse things can actually get.

I’m not knocking the quality of the DLC. But a DLC is not a NEW game. By definition it’s not a game it’s a downloadable content to a base game. I don’t care if it’s different. There’s plenty of DLC that is different from the base game. Doesn’t mean they deserve GOTY.

My guess is that game streaming is going to be like VR gaming in so far as every 20 years there’s a huge industry push to make it the next big thing but consumers just don’t buy into it. Maybe a small enough segment exists to keep it afloat but niche.

The DLC thing is just annoying to me. It’s not even a new game??? Honestly there were good games this year that weren’t big triple A games. Not sure why we have to start nominating DLC.

Metaphor is my personal game of the year but I feel the move to allow DLC in for GOTY is some type of foreshadowing.

I’m still working through it and almost finished. It’s good, not amazing. It’s just disappointing as someone who has liked the previous games to see how the character writing and dialogue has declined so much.

I feel like half of the game reviewers out there don’t even want to be gaming reviewers…they want to do other journalism but just need a gig to pay bills in the interim.
