Yep, I logged into the OR Sec. of State website to check my status (I did this some weeks ago and all was fine, but best to be certain) and it said that my ballot will be mailed tomorrow.

Cheers to this! Ages ago when portable mp3 players were a thing I was wearing one (iRiver brand I think, sort of a triangular tube shaped thing) on the lanyard it came with in the office and a friend/colleague told me I looked like a dork. I replied 'Nice! I am comfortable with my dorkiness.'

I love Kliban's work! Most people it seems if they know his stuff at all it is only his cats, but I really enjoy his more absurd things such as this one.

In my house the dryer duct stupidly runs up through the attic and out what is supposed to be an attic vent. It is far too long, and made things take forever to dry. We finally just replaced our dryer with a heat pump dryer so now I never have to deal with that duct nonsense again.

Recently re-watched the classic Neil Simon movie Murder By Death and was delighted to be reminded that she was in it. The movie as a whole has not aged as well as she has.

A guy who runs a collective of crappy little businesses across the street from me (I live on a busy street) apparently bought one. It was also the first I'd seen in the wild, and I basically stood in my driveway laughing for 5 solid minutes.
