The US military would be better-off (i.e. live significantly longer) not getting its 💩 pushed in by the Canadian, & British, & French — among others — militaries if it tried to occupy Canada.

For their own sake, as much as because it’s the right thing to do, the US military must defy such an order.

One small good thing about Trump’s 🐂💩 is that we in the rest of the world had grown so weary of the US’s self-congratulatory crowing that we’d come to avoid self-praise ourselves, seeing it as too gauche & cringeworthy. Now we’re all finally acknowledging “Actually, yeah, we’re pretty damned great!”

As a Briton, just losing access to bases on our territory would be devastating to the US’s ability to project power globally, never mind if we end production of the 15-20% of parts of every F-35 we make, halting the production pipeline until Lockheed Martin figures-out how to make inferior knockoffs

The problem isn’t the IQ of the masses being too low, it’s the EQ of the elite being too low. A society of wise & kind idiots can function, even if it takes time to flourish. A society captured by cruel sociopaths who think themselves geniuses will surge forward, only to rapidly burn itself out.
