A dude with too many opinions and too much time on his hands, with a wife much smarter than he. Father of three dumbass cats.

BS in compsci from Mizzou 2007, MCSE, MSD and CCNA.
That moment when the "all lives matter" people laugh at the idea of all people having healthcare.

When someone's family tree looks more like a wreath, it's not surprising that phonetics are hard.

I love how they use "progressive" as if it's an insult.

"The Republican party will stand for progressivism by the time I'm done." - Dwight D. Eisenhower.

You have to be careful with those foreign-makes, domestic-make feet really are so much easier to install, although the sport-model feet can be tricky.

such a callus statement, but you really nailed it.

Just a "South Park" reference. Christopher Reeve decided to become a villain and just go by a menacing-sounding "Chris".

Funny how they pretend to be Constitutional literalists - except for bits like "well-regulated" or "all persons" or "due process" - then suddenly its "well they really meant..."
June 28, 2025 at 7:27 AM
Just curious, do you have an evil alter ego who just goes by... "Crissss"?

I just imagine the audiobooks being read with plenty of sighs and audible eyerolls.

"Fuckin' Finnegan... 🙄"

That's even worse. That's suggesting this is a dictatorship where you don't get the benefits of his leadership until after you kiss his ring.

Born in '85, small town in Indiana, Mizzou grad, BS Compsci, former systems engineer w/Motorola. Moved back home after spinal injury and met a wonderful woman - helped me turn my angry jaded self into a happy person capable of love.

(2) Insisting they deserve such protection is the same sort of logic some pro-birth fetus-obsessed nut job uses to justify controlling someone's body.

(1) Blocked me, nice. Sorry, if my life has zero value to them, it's insane for me to sit there and insist their life is special and has value to me. That's reinforcing privilege; they can afford bodyguards so let them rely on that. Stop pretending their so precious simply because they're alive.
December 10, 2024 at 3:27 AM
And yes, it is COMPLETELY relevant. Insisting their life is special when they tell you yours isn't is just servitude. They don't care if I die, so I have zero motivation to care if they die. Period. End of story. Move the fuck on.

Keep licking those boots, buddy. Maybe some elitist CEO will humor you with some crumbs.
December 10, 2024 at 3:21 AM
It's not the same. It's really not difficult to understand. If they are not capable of morality, they don't warrant it. That doesn't mean I'm surrendering my morality, that simply means acknowledging someone else as how they view me.

Why spend such emotion on them when they spend none on you?
December 10, 2024 at 3:21 AM
We aren't. You're presuming these people are on the same sort of level. They view folks like me as disposable cattle. That says who they are. Viewing them as such doesn't require my surrendering my morality. "Love thy enemy" is nonsense. When I'm declared disposable, well, I will view them the same.
December 10, 2024 at 3:17 AM
Who said anything about right or wrong? Again, they abandoned morality a long time ago.
December 10, 2024 at 3:13 AM
They abandoned morality and ethics a long time ago. When your opponent keeps punching low you don't have to do the same. But when nobody stops the fight and they're allowed to keep fighting dirty, damnit, meet them with the same.

Maybe CEOs can start wearing bulletproof backpacks or carry guns.

I would say for the human mind description is the primary pillar of comprehension. If we lack the language to describe its difficult to comprehend. Our world is bound to what we can comprehend - which is likely why we fear what we don't understand. We turn that into myths or legend.
